Ride to BC : These are pix we took while riding to British Columbia and back to St. Louis, MO. I'd like to mention that on this trip we rode 5,616 miles, 99% state and county roads. The only interstate we took was on the trip home, we took the interstate a bit past Sturgis and on the last day we were on a mission to get home so we jumped on I-70 in Columbia, MO at 2AM and headed for St. Louis. We rode 755 miles that day, and as we were rolling down the last few miles home, I was still enjoying it. That say's a lot, I think. I didn't keep the gravel mileage, but we rode on gravel every day at least for a while and I'd say we rode about 600 - 900 miles of the trip off of the tarmac roads.

Hang'n Out In KC : I've been hang'n out at Engle Motors Inc. this month so to get a better understanding of the job I'm about to start here in St Louis. Single Track Ride : The planets aligned and I was able to meet up with Gaspipe and Bigdogadventures to ride some single track in the Mark Twain National Forest. I rode with them from Viburnum, MO to Lesterville, MO... Talk about a workout! It was a day full of serious trail riding...for me anyway. It's been a long time since I rode single track and it showed. I really hope I didn't hold the guys up too much. If I did they didn't let on that I was. I rode my girlfriends XT225. It did pretty good considering it's a chicks bike. ;~) I tried really hard to fry it's clutch and actually thought I did on the first 20 miles, but it recuperated enough for me to finish the ride. I had a few minor biffs but none too serious. No damage done. All in all the XT225 did all I asked it to... Thanks for letting me tag along Bruce and Mark ... I had a blast!

Creek Crossings : Yeah, This was taken back in 2005. It's only now that I can finally add videos. You can find them at the last page of this report...Shannon, Dennis and I went on what are the undisputed 'best roads for creek crossings' in the area. I've got videos but I won't be able to download them till I change the format. I'm hoping to get my new computer and cable pipeline set up by next week so It's not going to happen till then.
